Position Objective:
The Lead Insights Analyst uses data analytics to drive business strategy. In this role, you will need to:

Lead analytical projects, from scoping phase to delivery.
Scope project to answer the client’s business questions via in-depth analysis of their data and
actionable recommendations
Present insights and recommendations to Kognitiv stakeholders and clients
Use analytical methodologies and techniques such as customer segmentations to aid business and
campaign strategies and planning
Be a steward of data and analytics across the team and organization

Areas of key responsibilities:​

Business Analytics
Act as an analytics expert to Kognitiv’s clients. Formulate questions and/or hypotheses, independently define scope, and proactively communicate insights and recommendations to clients by way of summary or presentations
Gather business requirements and then translate into analytics objectives and analysis plan that you and/or the team can begin working towards
Develop and implement new analytical methodologies and techniques for clients
Contribute to the evolution and internal innovation of our Analytics and Data Science capabilities, toolsets, and knowledge base
Continue to develop and build-out the best practices for analytics and share learnings with peers
Translate Analytics findings into actionable insights and recommendations for the internal teams to fully integrate DS into the overall Kognitiv packages served to clients

Background and Experience:

What are the requirements for this position in terms of education, knowledge and experience in order to
accomplish the responsibilities and deliver the desired end results?

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems,
Statistics, or related field
5+ years of relevant analytical experience
Fluency in SQL
Strong Microsoft Suite skills, especially with Excel & PowerPoint
Comfortable synthesizing and presenting technical concepts and insights
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience building member segmentation models
Good understanding of predictive analytics techniques (e.g. modelling, machine learning)
Experience with at least one core statistical programming language (e.g. R, python)
Experience and understanding of A/B and multivariate testing best practices and application

About the opportunity:

In this key role as a Commercial Development Manager you will be responsible for marketing, sales and business development to promote and support the organization’s products across EMEA.

You will play a pivotal role in improving an organization’s market position and contribute towards measurable commercial financial growth.

About the opportunity:

As an Account Manager you will build and maintain effective long-term relationships and high satisfaction levels with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of Air Miles accounts.

You will be key in Identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities within existing and new accounts, and create demand for Kognitiv’s products and services by raising their profile with customers.

You achieve revenue targets and conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers to understand their needs and link them to the organization’s product/service strategies.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Responsible for managing a portfolio of partners within the Air Miles programme
Work closely with the partners as the primary point of contact and key responsibilities include driving the targeted revenue from partners through developing and executing a marketing plan for each partner based on business objectives and analytics, in addition to providing day to day operational support
Develop a good understanding of our partner’s business to identify revenue opportunities from existing / new products and services including the implementation of Collaborative Commerce and Embedded Success Plans with partners and the evolution to a PaaS subscription model
Manage the overall account including: project management, staff training, retail visibility, marketing plans, budgeting, and quarterly reviews with partners
Actively participate in the joint business planning process with partners; support the combined client and Kognitiv team in planning, delivering, and evaluating an annual plan to drive customer loyalty – communications, in store marketing, events, rewards propositions, digital propositions
Achieve the revenue targets across assigned key accounts and ensure we achieve a positive NPS with partners
Maintain close liaison across internal teams – Marketing, Insights and Operations to ensure internal programme plans / processes match client validated plans, resulting in delivery of programme results to meet partner and Kognitiv business results
Negotiate client contract renewals including preparing internal renewal proposals for approval and liaising directly with partners on negotiations.
Background and Experience:

Minimum 5 years related experience in account management, sales, marketing, or interactive solutions
A creative mind and a strong focus on delivery for clients
Passionate about long term customer relationships with a strong customer centric focus
Desirable to have experience working with or understanding of emerging digital technology, communications, and social media.
Strong commercial acumen and experience owning financial targets / budgets
Familiarity with the loyalty industry desired
