The purpose of the role is to work with the Sales and Proposition teams to ratify requirements, complete detailed design and provide continuity of technical expertise to the delivery teams and the customer during the delivery phase. Ensure we deliver a workable solution that meets the customer requirements, technical capabilities, global standards, and best practices.

Pre-sales responsibilities:

Facing into the Lead Salesperson and the Lead Customer person and working with the supporting Refinitiv team to fundamentally ensure what is sold can be technically and functionally delivered AND supported within defined proposition parameters
Being clear about what the customer requirements are and what can and cannot be delivered within the envelope of the defined proposition AND escalating potential requirements that should be considered by the Refinitiv business
Being responsible for the technical design of any proposed technical solution based on the above accountabilities working with the broader Implementation group, Sales leads, and the Customer
Accountable for signing off the proposed scope of deliverables, technical design, delivery timelines, efforts, and professional services deal commercial before it is presented for signature to the customer, with the power of vetoing proposals and escalating to resolution when that happens. Lead Solutions Governance process of the opportunity as deemed applicable
Project implementation responsibilities:

Accountable for the delivery of the technical design but not necessarily doing all the work
Approving any variations to the design that may arise during the build
Working hand in hand with the on-boarding project manager to ensure progress is reported and key milestones are maintained
Accountable for the integration of the solution into the customer environment and assisting the client with migration
Accountable for the post build internal sanity testing against the agreed functional specification
Accountable for the creation of support run book for hand over into the service organization
Accountable for signoff of the UAT plan with the customer
Be on hand to support testing and answer questions and resolve issues using the implementation and operational teams sufficient to gain customer confidence in the delivered solution
Be accountable that the customer signs off what has been delivered
Where the technical scope of the project expands beyond the subject matter expertise of the individual Solutions Architect, the Solutions Architect should be responsible for seconding into the project the relevant additional subject matter expertise to allow the full scope of the Solutions Architect deliverables to be achieved
Post-implementation responsibilities:

Be available to handle 3rd level escalations related to the solution in line with prevailing support mechanisms
Be on hand if the customer wishes to vary their requirements to discuss if and how this might be accommodated being clear that variations may be subject to additional charges
Work outside the Solutions Architect role:

Contribute to BAU products, propositions and related customer site implementation work to maintain the currency of their subject matter expertise and to maximize their contribution to the implementation delivery workload
Exclusions:

The Solutions Architect will not be accountable for on-boarding project management but will be expected to contribute to planning for the relevant elements
The Solutions Architect will not be accountable for pricing the customer proposition but will contribute to that piece of work which will be lead by the sales engineer

Talent Acquisition Partner

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for driving recruitment best practices, processes and delivery across the Middle East Region, specifically across our Operations and D&A Portfolio.

The TAP will consult with hiring managers on establishing a sourcing strategy to attract, assess and deliver high profile talent to the company. The role will also be responsible for building a proactive talent sourcing strategy and pipeline as well as continued development and promotion of the Refinitiv employment brand. The role will partner with HR colleagues on specific internal and external initiatives and projects.

Essential Responsibilities

Ensuring standardization of global recruiting processes and procedures
Developing and managing a talent pipeline for the market that is in line with the businesses current and future requirements
Develop and implement innovative and creative solutions to sourcing and candidate management – including developing direct sourcing channels; including market mapping, employee referrals, advertising and other methods
Implement an internet and social media strategy campaign, evaluate funding sources and make proposals to ensure Refinitiv is appropriately positioned in the region
Ensure regular reporting of relevant recruiting metrics to assess effectiveness of recruiting programs and talent hired
Partnering with hiring managers and developing a sourcing strategy for each role and regular communication and updates to hiring managers
Managing our Preferred Supplier List for the region, conducting qualitative and quantitative performance reviews and vendor briefing sessions. Ensuring that 90% of vendor usage is with Preferred Supplier
Ensuring data integrity, having 100% of all applications recorded on Workday and accurate reporting and metrics
Delivering Competency based training to all people managers and ensuring a robust hiring process that includes 100% of offered candidates have a competency-based interview
Interviewing all candidates before they are hired and conducting relevant assessments i.e. Predictive Index, SBI, Technology Coding
Ensuring a high quality and consistent approach to job descriptions and job adverts, including providing training and guidance to hiring managers
Ensuring all hired candidates have Background and Reference Checks conducted
Partner with all divisions to leverage relationships across the company
Providing strategic market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity and salaries across the region

Experience and Qualifications Required

Significant experience as a talent acquisition specialist
Proven track record of hiring directly
Knowledge of MEA recruitment process and local legislation.
In depth understanding of hiring in relevant region
Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on mutual trust, courageous and insightful advice, and consistent delivery
Strong business acumen with a commercial/pragmatic approach
Understanding and experience of cultural differences and their impact on business and organizational dynamics
Effective oral and written communication skills when dealing with management and employees at various organization levels, including senior management
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization
Ability to deal with ambiguous and fluid situations
Strong relationship and communication skills
Innovative and creative thinking
