Manager of Professional Development – Digital & Analytics (12-month contract)

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be based in our Abu Dhabi or Dubai office as part of our Digital and Analytics team in the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMA) region.
You will work closely with the EEMA Digital & Analytics associate director of professional development, the EEMA Digital and Analytics regional leadership group as well as the regional Digital and Analytics professional development and other people teams (learning, talent) to de facto co-lead and drive growth and impact in our dual client service and people mission. You will play a central role in driving the regional people agenda, reassessing existing and designing new people processes to ensure we best look after our diverse talent in the light of significant scaling.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will oversee and co-lead a regional team of ~5 professional development colleagues in total with currently ~4 direct reports providing day-to-day guidance and coaching in addition to identifying individual strengths and development opportunities and actively supporting professional growth for the team.
In this role, you will define, shape and lead strategic people initiatives end-to-end working across multiple stakeholders, ensuring proper alignment and syndication with key leaders and drive synthesis and recommendations. You will work closely with the learning team to ensure alignment between the professional development and learning teams. You will also ensure that professional development can give meaningful input into the continuous refinement and evolution of our learning offerings.
You will act as a thought partner to the associate director of professional development and recruiting, regional Digital and Analytics leaders, location/service line leaders and other members of the people function and professional development leadership teams on a wide range of topics. You will run the operations of the regional professional development function including priorities. You will translate and implement firm initiatives as well as lead annual headcount planning and allocation for the region.
This is a fixed term contract for the length of 12 months.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be based in on of our Middle East Offices – Cairo, Dubai, Doha or Karachi office as part of our MEO People team.
You will provide administrative support to the People team in a wide range of areas (e.g., recruiting, new hire onboarding, staffing, performance management, mobility, exits).
This is a full time internship with 1 year contract.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will support management of candidate data, using existing application tracking tools and contribute to resume screening & decision meeting facilitation.
You will respond to ad hoc requests for data analysis, data maintenance, event support etc. and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. You will work with team to plan recruiting events’ calendar and manage all event logistics, scheduling and communications that need to happen locally/virtually.
You will administer staffing process by collecting engagement and consultant availability information, maintaining relevant databases and records, and assisting in preparing staffing-related reports and analysis. You will support the smooth entry and exit of employees, including administering background checks, coordinating new hire onboarding, processing relevant paperwork, sharing HR/benefits information with new firm members, and administering new hire processes.
You will update recruiting calendar and help coordinate consultants’ deployment for recruiting events and conduct personnel analysis and reporting, using firm databases. You will function as key contact for women recruiting priority across the office and design and implement women recruiting strategies and key initiatives. You will support consultants’ review processes, including scheduling review meetings, collecting materials, managing databases, preparing documents, providing on-site meeting support, process follow-up, and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
And last but not least, you will contribute to team projects, other strategic sessions and initiatives and work on opportunities to improve people processes and approaches

WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will play a key role in proposal management and client development.
Your focus will be on supporting end-to-end proposal development and management (50%), and maintaining a library of proposal materials as well as updating internal tracking tools for the region (50%). You will be responsible for effectively using proposal development procedures, tools, and templates; basic interpretation of solicitation requirements for document organization and production; and accurate, timely communications regarding document status, proposal team meetings, and formal reviews.
You will support the sourcing of new opportunities, assemble and review proposal drafts, edit material and ensure final formatting and layout of proposals in preparation for production. Working collaboratively with teams, you will also help develop content for non-technical portions of the proposal response such as staffing, risk management, resumes and reference cases.
