About Financial Communications
Following a sustained period of growth, we are looking for ambitious, talented and experienced consultants with
experience in communications advisory for clients in the financial & professional services sector, alongside other
sectors, to play a key role in servicing and expanding our portfolio of clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a strategic corporate and financial communications
consultancy, or a relevant in-house position, and a desire to step up and accelerate their career development. The
breadth and variety of our client base means we can accommodate sector specialists or consultants who want to
work across a broader range of areas.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in developing the financial and professional services portfolio as
part of the broader Financial Communications client base – taking day-to-day responsibility for leading successful
client programmes while contributing to Instinctif’s continued success through new business, marketing and team
development.
The candidate should be able to:
• Develop communications strategies and execution plans
• Draft technical press releases to a good standard
• Build strong media relations both through organising press office teams and garnering media interest
• Draft social media content and understand social media strategy
• Develop feedback reports
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills managing complex accounts across geographies

• Demonstrate strong client handling skills; experience in delivering counsel to clients
• Lead new business pitched alongside senior team
The Candidate
• Should be able to speak both English and preferably Arabic
• University degree or higher education
• Solid knowledge of financial and professional services
• Three years of experience working in a successful consultancy or equivalent in-house position
• Strong creative and strategic thinking skills
• Confident client communication and presenting skills
• An energetic, collaborative and entrepreneurial approach
• A proactive attitude and comfortable working both independently and/or as part of a wider team
• Commercial and selling skills including experience of new business activity (research, drafting pitch slides,
pitching and networking)
• Good network of media and industry contacts with a clear plan to develop this further
• An appetite to help build Instinctif business through both organic and new business growth
• Specific experience required in:
o Helping to run client teams of various sizes and being a client’s daily point of contact
o Project managing integrated accounts including digital and social media implementation, and liaising
with ESG, content and creative, public policy and research teams
o Developing and implementing thought leadership platforms and creative issues-led campaigns
o Conceptualising and leading teams to produce compelling content including press releases, op-eds,
thought leadership reports and social media content
o Developing relationships with media and other stakeholders and influencers
o Issues and crisis management

Working across a range of sectors and using our extensive knowledge of decision-making procedures in Ireland, we deliver a comprehensive service that includes policy analysis, engagement, strategic information services, advice, public relations campaigns, coalition building and profile-raising activities.

We’re looking for an ambitious Research Assistant to support our growing team. This entry level position is perfect for someone who is interested in kick starting a career in public relations and public affairs in a growing consultancy working across a wide range of sectors. The position is a full-time fixed term 6 month contract, with a start date in January 2022.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Conducting research on policy issues and regulatory structures
Monitoring Irish legislative developments and transposition of EU legislation in Ireland
Supporting the implementation of external communications projects
Drafting reports, providing summaries, updating legislative databases
Attending conferences and events to network and report back
Administrative tasks (answering phones, welcoming guests, supporting colleagues)
