HSBC’s Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM) serves as a core service provider to Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) and Commercial Banking (CMB) customers. Responsible for proactively managing, leading and driving the MENAT GLCM Payment Product Management organization throughout the region, in order to position HSBC as the market leading provider of Cash Management in each of its chosen customer segments and countries within the region. The jobholder is responsible for establishing payment strategy, product development & design, managing the budget planning for ATP and SBI initiatives and tracking business performance.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our GLCM (Global Liquidity & Cash Management) sales team within Commercial Banking, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

• Provide regional and domestic client service; manages and grows the cash management relationships; ensures client satisfaction and acts as primary contact of GLCM to customers. Leads and works with other areas of the Bank on the crafting and provision of service
• Facilitate discussions externally with clients at senior levels and internally in the bank with Treasury, IT, and NSC for payment processing and query resolution and fixing recurring issues
• Maximize GLCM revenue by account planning, cross selling, deepening wallet share and increasing stickiness
• Maintain and improve delivery of client service excellence
• Assume responsibility for feedback from internal/external clients for activities within the Client Services.
• Ensure identifying and referring cross selling opportunities for the GLCM product suite
• Establish and develop close working relationships with pertinent country and Group offices and operational areas to ensure excellent customer service
• Represent the interest of Client Service at steering committees and working groups
• Support new and existing colleagues promoting and contributing to an engagement culture
• Act as an ambassador for the team and contribute fully to its development, effectiveness and success, share knowledge, experience and best practices with junior RMs within and outside of immediate team and promote a collective culture to spread experience & best practice
• Continually reassess the key risks inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring

Maintain a high level of integrity & confidentiality at all times

Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Project management
Candidate with HR and Employee relation experience is a priority. If not, then candidates with legal or audit or compliance experience preferred.
HR and Employee relation experience
University degree is mandatory
English – Excellent in both spoken and written. Written/Spoken Arabic will also be an advantage.
Experience with country law and labor relations within the UAE, and strong knowledge of Middle East culture

Principal responsibilities

The Programme Manager will support the Regional Head of Enterprise Technology to achieve and execute the Enterprise Technology Project commitments and objectives.

The Programme Manager is responsible for executing and reporting the end-to-end Project & portfolio planning, delivery, risks and issues for assigned Enterprise Technology projects.

The role will establish and govern the end to end Project level governance, financial reporting, cost / benefit tracking and will work with the Global, Regional and Country IT teams to ensure successful delivery / execution based on the agreed commitments and timelines.

Technology Project Management jobs is accountable for successful delivery of Technology projects and ensuring benefits realization. Project outputs may form part of a technology-based change programme, delivery of a technology-only Programme, or may be standalone.

The role will be leading Project teams throughout the project life cycle, including setting and controlling project parameters, producing detailed project plans, anticipating resource usage and availability, scheduling for optimum efficiency while maintaining project controls and managing team member contributions. The role will be working with Business leads, Product Owners, Engineering PODs, Architects and peers within the Technology Teams to build/deploy product designs to support new features and offerings. The role will also work with Platform/Domain Leads to achieve target and transitional architectures, grounded in achievable investment and delivery roadmaps, that will evolve our services to be channel-agnostic and underpinned by streamlined data models and modern platforms within the bank.

Initialising governance for the programme in line with the strategic objectives of the technology and data organisations, with a particular focus on improving bank-wide data and technology architecture
Working with diverse delivery teams to plan the programme from start to completion including milestones, risk, issues and dependencies
Supervising IT work stream leads in line with overall programme governance
Ensure all programme processes and activities are following established guidelines across the Technology core practices including Portfolio and Programme Management, Architecture and Design, Infrastructure and Engineering
Close collaboration across all Outcome Transformation Leads for clear traceability to IT deliverables, cross programme dependencies, regional impacts, managing blockers and risks.
Attendance and participation in bank-wide programme governance forums
