About The Role

Within the regional business unit Sales Manager Israel will be expected to plan, organize, direct and coordinate all sales activities in the area of responsibility, in order to meet short and medium-term commercial objectives.

He/She will be responsible for acquisition of new clients, distributors and enabling further development of our positioning in the market (market intel, direct customer interaction…).

Key Responsibilities Include

Ensure that critical and strategic business drivers are known and understood within commercial teams, in order to maximize sales potential in the area of responsibility
Develop and participate in the maintenance of relationships with distributors and strategic customers while providing them
Ensure timely, appropriate, and ambitious goal-setting process, as well as follow-up and taking corrective action, with commercial teams within the area of responsibility.
Collaborate with the regional marketing team to achieve short and medium-term objectives in terms of volume, NSV, margin, and market share
Actively support the implementation of customer relationship management for existing and new customers in the relevant segments and networks
Direct and manage the account managers and team leaders of the team in order to maximize individual and team performance through concrete commercial goal setting
Ensure constant follow-up on commercial goals and achievements in order to meet/exceed budgets.
Continuously observe critical trends and evolutions and in a timely manner translate and communicate to the relevant functions in the organization

About You

Degree in Economics/Business/Food Engineering is nice to have
Proven track record in commercial food service chain account management
English (full proficiency). Any other European language is a plus.
Travel across the country and the MENA region as required
Experience in customer relationship management, ​in particular at large and complex organizations
Technical background in food
Proven experience inside a chain
Proven experience with project development
Ability to convince stakeholders engaging cross functional teams
Expertise into products
Understanding of the full manufacturing chain of the products
Understands of operational challenges of the target customer
Excellent verbal and written communication

The Chocolate Academy Chef is responsible for training customers at the Chocolate Academy and also in other similar local facilities at our customer premises. The work will extend beyond the simple transfer of knowledge and skills to raising the customers usage of chocolate by the development of recipes and menus and if appropriate and in conjunction with the gourmet sales team promotions.

Key responsibilities:

Teaching chocolate skills in the academy both on a formal pre sold courses and on development days for Key accounts

Organise Gourmet direct account visits with a view to transfer knowledge through training and assist in the development of menu and promotional ideas for the customer

Assist in planning and organizing the Academy calendar

Enroll and speak to course and bespoke training attendees
Preparation of course bookings, lunch, ingredients, equipment and suppliers
Assist and make any product for both the Industrial and Gourmet sales force to aid their job in selling products to direct accounts
Assist when requested with Industrial account visits
Cover for Head of Academy when requested.

Your profile:

Masters in Economics/Business/Food Engineering is nice to have
Proven track record in commercial foodservice chain account mgt
​5yrs + in Chocolate management
English (full proficiency). Any other European language is a plus.
Communication skills
Creativity and passion for food
Personal usage and experience in leveraging CRM tools / salesforce.com

Commercial Cocoa Manager MENA

Our position, Commercial Cocoa Manager MENA, is accountable for all cocoa product volume & cocoa powder premiums in the MENA region. Developing sales volume and increases premium with the defined local, regional and international customer base. The incumbent is the main point of contact of Cocoa Business within BC for all customers in MENA region and takes full responsibility for the cocoa business & cocoa distributors in a professional manner. Indirectly manages the BC sales force (FM & GM) for the sale of cocoa products within the region. Proactively supports the sales organization for additional opportunities outside the existing customer base. Acts as the MENA ‘customers’ voice within BC Cocoa EEMEA to ensure customer satisfaction and continuity of business relationship.

Description of Tasks:

  • Developing a strategic plan for the region and being accountable for the execution of it in order to increase volume & premium.
  • Developing a strong network of contacts within BC – Customer Care, Marketing, Sourcing, Finance and Supply Chain – in order to support day to day business in the region and pro-actively supports the sales team, distributors & customers
  • Being able to translate Cocoa Bean & Product markets in a simple way to explain the sales team and customers about trends to support purchasing strategies of the customers
  • Understanding customer market, capability & position in order to create a business development plan per customer to drive growth
  • Indirect management of Sales teams in order to be successful in their job of selling cocoa products
  • Developing positive working relationships with key stakeholders on customers side including, buying, technical, NPD and supply chain departments and recognize key decision makers
  • Building strong relationship with Chocolate counterpart within region.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or commerce related field
  • 10+ years in commercial working experience
  • 2+ years in Cocoa trading/product experience
  • Fluent in English both written and oral
  • Speaking French is preferred due to the region’s customer base
  • Regular travel within region and to BC locations (Louviers, Hamburg, Zurich) required (on average 60% of work time)
  • Basic understand of Terminal Commodity Markets (preferably Cocoa beans)
  • Understanding of cocoa powder and technical aspects
  • Commercial drive to make the deal in the interest of BC & customer
  • Relationship builder & team player
